Babies - Preschoolers
Get ready for fun—Storytime kicks off June 2 and happens every Monday at 5:30 PM and Wednesday at 11:00 AM! Heads up: We'll be taking a little break on June 30 and July 2 to celebrate the holiday week.
Have fun playing 1,000 books Bingo with your little one for the Summer Reading Program. June through July, every row completed earns a sticker. The whole sheet (15 activities) earns a book!


Elementary
JUNE: Arts in the Parks
Join Madison Public Library outside! Arts in the Parks is an hour program that meets each week in a park near you! Pick the park and time that's best for you.
Each week is the same program, no matter the park:

Thursdays @ 11:30am in Madison Aquatic Center & Park, 1001 1st St NW
We will read a book and do activities to help us color our world through a variety of mediums
*Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Week 1: Science of Color - Prepare to be MESSY!
Week 2: Be Loud - Boom, bang, cling, clang: not just noise! Color our world through music.
Week 3: Art in Pieces - Color our world through assembling pieces into vibrant art.
Week 4: Joy of Movement - Come dance, move, and color our world through movement
Week 5: No Scheduled Programs June 30-July 3
Take & Make Kits will be available!
JULY: Create in the Library!
Join us back in the library for a few come-and-go events happening on Mondays from 4pm to 6pm.
Week 6: Clay Sculpture

Week 8: Weave Through a Good Book
NOTE: Week 1, 3, 6, 8 art projects will be saved by the library for the Color Our World Art Show on Tuesday August 5th During Madtown Downtown at The Brickhouse.
Community Gardeners
Join us every Wednesday morning, 9-10am, to care for the library garden and learn more about gardening!

Bring a Favorite Graphic Novel to first meeting!
You help pick out the books we read. Talk as little or as much as you want. Every other week will be silent reading! Snacks provided.

Every book read earns a Raffle Ticket!
BINGO
Do I have to do the Bingo?
Nope! You can still participate in the summer reading just by reading the books you (hopefully) love. You will get a raffle ticket for every book that you read; you just won't get the extra chances by doing the bingo card.
Bingo Rules
Get 5 in a row for BINGO
Each BINGO counts as an extra raffle entry for a prize.
A completed board earns extra raffle tickets.
Books cannot count for more than one square.
What books can I read?
Physical books, Audiobooks, eBooks!
Only books from the adult and young adult collections can be used for Bingo and raffle tickets.
