Interlibrary Loan

This is service provided by the South Dakota State Library allows you to search participating library catalogs across the state.   You as a patron, will now be able to search the state catalog called SD Share It Network.

*Note: Lending libraries will not loan out new material on ILL until it is at least 6 months old and in a rare case, a year old.

First, check to make sure we do not own what you are looking for.

Second, Request the ILL.

Username: your 14-digit library card number

Password: your last name in ALL CAPS and only 8 characters long. 
Example: 
   Smith = SMITH
   Veldhuizen = VELDHUIZ
